Long Bay College offers the highly regarded NCEA qualifications and provides students with an impressive range of academic subjects with many opportunities for learning. Long Bay College has a reputation for excellence in the Arts. There are many opportunities for international students to participate in a wide range of activities including Dance, Drama, Music, Photography and Visual Arts both during the school day or after school.

The College has a record of regional and national success in individual and team sports. There are large numbers of students involved in indoor and outdoor sports. Students can choose from a wide range of sports including basketball, football, rugby, badminton, hockey and martial arts. There are also golf, horse riding and martial arts clubs nearby.

All international students live in homestay families carefully selected by the homestay co-ordinator, who inspects all the homes both before and during a student’s placement with a family. Our families all live locally within close proximity to the school.
