A unique feature of Mercury Bay Area School is that we are a composite (Area) school and can cater for the education of students aged from 5 to19 years on a single campus, so we have a family atmosphere.

2010 Mercury Bay Area School students achieved academic results above the national average in all levels of the NCEA results. We tailor individual programmes taking in the interests and needs of the student.

Students can and are encouraged to participate in a wide variety of sporting and cultural activities through the school and the local community.
