Whitireia offers over 130 programmes with strong industry links. Pathways allow students to enter their chosen study area with varying English and academic requirements. All programmes have a focus on enabling students to be work-ready, with many qualifications incorporating industry experience.

Whitireia offers a post-secondary vocation-based polytechnic type of education. Theoretical knowledge is enhanced by applied in-class projects and assignments as well as industry-based learning.
Whitireia combines industry-experienced lecturers and tutors with excellent pastoral care support to enable students to gain the knowledge and experience necessary to succeed in the “real world”.

Whitireia’s Auckland (International) Campus focuses on the provision of tertiary education to speakers of English as a second language and incorporates an English language component into its programmes as well as offering a range of entry points.
